Luke is LA. Raised in Orange County, now residing in Los Angeles, having lived in San Francisco, and having traveled all over the US and world; Luke has compiled his style by sampling all that the world has to offer. Having heard the different sounds and styles of music both off and on the Circuit, being influenced by DJs such as Neil Lewis, Phil B, Manny Lehman, Abel, and David Knapp; Luke looked for a sound that he could call his own. With the sun drenched backdrop of Los Angeles and surrounded by the beautiful people of Southern California, Luke's sound is uniquely LA.

Seeking out music that has great energy from start to finish, Luke infuses his mixes with a lot funky noises. Those twisting & turning abnormal elements bring a lot of energy and fun to his sets. Selecting songs that tap into an emotion is important to Luke; love, happiness, hope, bittersweet or even sadness. The emotion in his mixes can come from the lyrics or it can also come from the unspoken vibe of the song. Luke realized early on how music shaped emotion and emotion shapes music. In DJing there is a continuous nonverbal exchange occurring between the DJ and the crowd. Put simply, Luke doesn't just hear music, but feels it.

Variety is the key to Luke's style. It can get boring hearing the same beat or style of music all night. Luke believes in using several genres of music to make a complete musical journey; constantly moving his listener along with subtle forward motion. In the course of a set he will pull from all dance music genres; House, Progressive, Trance, Tribal, etc… All of these different sounds can come together to create an awesome and intense journey. Within that, Luke believes in tailoring his set to the event. Weather it is playing an intimate house party or performing for the largest pride celebrations in the country, Luke pays careful attention to his song selection and flow, creating a tailor made set for each individual performance.
